We are searching for the best talent for Supply Chain Planning to be in São José dos Campos.

Purpose: You will be responsible for ensuring an optimized production schedule for the products, lines and site managed in accordance with the latest customer demands and equipment available capacity as well as downstream replenishment requirement.

As part of a team, you will work to optimize the flow of materials, while considering the plants warehouse capacity and inventory targets to eliminate potential disruptions in the storage, storage costs and avoiding material scrap (SLOB) both at site level.

For this position, we are looking for a person that sets accurate priorities and approaches complex challenges systematically and can address them efficiently. You know how to reinforce your position and use it to take up responsibilities. Furthermore, you have continuous improvement, and you like to drive projects forward as well as further collaborations in a complex environment. You can build strong and collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspectives and styles, and you show good communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize production schedules (1-13 weeks horizon) for products in accordance to customer demand and available capacity.
  • Accountability for downstream replenishment and timely release for production in partnership with local Quality Product team.
  • Lead short term exceptions such as lack of raw materials or unplanned equipment downtime
  • Identify and address potential short-term supply constraints within the weekly process; analyze supply/demand alerts and address it accordingly.
  • Collaborate and partner with operations to ensure accurate bill of materials switch dates and timely update product of specific production parameters (cycle times, set-up times, yield, throughput) and capacity parameters (total usable hours; target capacity, planned hours) within local ERP system for the 1-24 months horizon; develop 'optimized' recipes to improve scheduling and capacity utilization / efficiency
  • Collaborate with Quality and Warehouse staff regarding rejected / defective materials, making the physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure a timely return of goods or disposal.
  • Provide relevant analytics and important metric reporting
  • Enable achievement of inventory targets and drive optimization activities in this area
  • Development, maintain, publish and communicate Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) to ensure that patients and customers requirements are met.
  • Supports material and component Phase in and Phase Out processes
  • Lead process improvements of the end-to-end cutover process in collaboration with affected departments
  • Clearly communicating with partners and team members
  • Providing analytical and technical supply chain support for the assigned product portfolio
  • Focuses and encourages continuous improvements (CI) of the process!

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree is required in Supply Chain Management or other related Business area, MBA is an asset.
  • APICS certification(s) desirable.
  • IBP knowledge is a bonus.
  • At least 4-6 years professional work experience in Supply Planning
  • Good knowledge of supply chain principles and methods
  • Strong MS office skills & good understanding of ERP systems (SAP) as well as planning System preferred (OMP)
  • Strong communication in English (spoken and written), Spanish is a benefit
  • Project management experience is desirable
