About This Role
As a Senior Payroll Specialist within our Global Business Services team, you will play a crucial role in processing payroll for US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will involve executing payroll processes in a timely manner, troubleshooting systems as needed, and collaborating efficiently with customers and stakeholders. This position is integral to maintaining smooth payroll operations, thereby supporting the company’s overall business objectives. In addition, you will contribute to the enhancement and optimization of payroll systems, continuously improving process documentation. By ensuring all payroll transactions are compliant with internal policies and government regulations, you will directly impact the satisfaction and trust of our employees.
What You’ll Do
Process regular and off-cycle US and Canada payroll, including collecting payroll inputs and calculating payroll to ensure timely payment to employees.
Ensure all payroll transactions comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as government regulations, including timely tax payments and document filing.
Provide support to team members when needed by acting as a backup and participating in knowledge sharing.
Keep process documentation up to date and suggest improvements to promote efficiency and systems optimization.
Deliver exceptional support to employees and stakeholders, resolving tickets and requests promptly and ensuring regular communication.
Collaborate with other departments to support payroll-related projects and initiatives.

Required Skills
University degree in finance, accounting, management, or equivalent professional payroll training/coursework.
2+ years of payroll processing experience.
Understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to payroll.
Competence in auditing payroll records and reports for accuracy and compliance.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in managing the execution of defined actions and monitoring completion with multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills
Experience with process improvement methodologies.
Experience with payroll software implementations.
Experience with UKG or ADP payroll software.
