Job Description Summary:
The System Manager, Quality of Lifeworks collaboratively with Cancer Services leadership at all OhioHealth regional and central Ohio facilities to develop and implement the Quality of Life program. This program provides supportive cancer care to all cancer patients from detection of abnormality through completion of treatment and survivorship. This includes cancer screening, oncology navigation, distress management, cancer survivorship and Cancer Call. Cancer Screening: development and management of a system-wide streamlined approach to cancer screening, assuring rapid notification, appropriate follow-up and communication with primary care physician. Navigation: development and management of a system-wide integrated, well-coordinated single system of care for patients from screening through cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship (greater than 6,000 cases annually). Distress Management: Development and management of a system-wide program to integrate and monitor care site psychosocial distress screening and referrals for provision of psychosocial care. Survivorship: development and management of a system-wide, comprehensive cancer survivorship program to include patients (and caregivers) in active treatment and lifetime programming for those who have completed active treatment.Minimum Qualifications:
