Job Description:

Since 2011, we have been tirelessly delivering on our promises to immigrants sending their hard-earned money home.The Senior Manager, Regulatory Alignment & Control Environment (RACE) will own the infrastructure that connects Remitly’s regulatory obligations to its compliance controls. In this role you will build and operate the systems, frameworks, and governance processes that ensure every applicable regulation across Remitly’s global entity footprint is identified, classified, mapped to a traceable control, and kept current as the regulatory environment evolves. You will lead the end-to-end regulatory change lifecycle — from horizon scanning and intake through impact assessment, implementation, and closure — and own the configuration and operational integrity of Remitly’s compliance control library.
You will work closely with Regional Compliance Officers, Legal, Security, Horizon Scanning, and Policy & Regulatory Affairs, as well as cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams. This role reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and is located in Seattle, WA.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $168,000.00 - $200,000.00. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
