Job Description Summary
The Procurement & Logistics Process, Tools & Transformation Leader is responsible for driving the design, standardization, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement and logistics-related processes, tools, and operating practices across the ELEC GSI Business Line.
This role focuses on improving efficiency, compliance, visibility, and user experience across procurement execution activities, while ensuring processes are scalable and aligned with business needs.
A key focus of the role is to lead transformation initiatives that simplify procurement operations, strengthen governance and controls, and support the implementation of central procurement hubs to drive greater efficiency, consistency, and standardization across the organization. The role also works closely with Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to improve end-to-end process integration, support effective delivery execution, and enhance operational performance.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of procurement processes from PO placement through delivery
- Establish governance frameworks, workflows, controls, and decision points to improve consistency, compliance, and process efficiency
- Drive implementation and optimization of tools supporting procurement execution, process visibility, workflow management, and reporting
- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead transformation initiatives to simplify procurement operations and improve scalability across the business
- Support the design and implementation of central procurement hubs to drive efficiency, standardization, and improved service delivery
- Define and promote standardized operating procedures and ways of working across teams and regions
- Partner with Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to improve coordination between procurement execution and delivery processes
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibility into procurement performance, cycle time, compliance, and service levels
- Lead change management, communications, training, and adoption efforts for new tools, processes, and operating models
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Logistics, or related field
- Significant experience in procurement operations, supply chain, process improvement, transformation, or shared services environments
- Strong experience with procurement execution processes, transactional procurement workflows, and process standardization
- Experience implementing process improvements, tools, or operating model changes in complex organizations
- Strong understanding of controls, governance, KPI management, and service delivery models
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional and global teams
- Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, Prosci, or equivalent certification
- Experience with ERP systems, procurement workflow tools, analytics platforms, and shared service or hub models
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or other operationally complex environments
