The aim of Ferrovial Corporation is to design the Company's strategy, establishing global policies, guidelines and action guides related to the different functional areas of the Organization (Internal Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Innovation, etc.), which subsequently are developed and adapted to the specificities of each Business Unit. Additionally, it performs a function of providing corporate services to the different companies of the group, while consolidating its information.

 

Job Description:

The candidate will join the Treasury Department, in the Transactional Treasury area, within the General Economic-Financial Direction in Madrid, belonging to the Headquarters. The Headquarters carry out support and accompaniment functions for the group's businesses and its different companies on a global level.

This person will be responsible for supervising and guaranteeing the correct functioning of internal treasury processes, with the more specific purposes of making them more efficient, mitigating operational risks and strengthening fraud control, coordinate and update the evidence of SOX controls (American Sarbanes Oxley regulation) of the transactional area under their supervision and guarantee compliance with the audit processes, both internal and external. Likewise, he will be responsible for coordinating the preparation of the Group's liquidity forecasts.

Functions:

  • Implement internal control policies.
  • Guarantee correct compliance with internal Treasury regulations by implementing new control policies.
  • Monitoring and coordination in the preparation and documentation of SOX internal controls assigned to the area.
  • Control and analysis of the evolution of the financial result provided by temporary financial investments and debt products, such as the issuance of ECP (Euro Commercial Paper).
  • Coordinate the preparation of consolidated cash flow forecasts in the short and long term,providing variance analysis.
  • Support in guaranteeing data integrity in the generation of cash reports by updating master data.
  • Analysis, control, monitoring and updating of bank counterparties.
  • Monitoring the loading of bank statements in the TMS and resolution of inc dents.
  • Helps in the rationalization and optimization of the banking pool.
  • Monitoring and control of banking commissions at a global level.
  • Support to other areas within the Regulatory Compliance Evidence Framework

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Economics, ADE or similar.
  • Minimum experience in similar positions of at least 3 years. Previous experience working in financial institutions or in corporate areas of a large multinational in audit positions is desirable.
  • High level of English (C1).
  • Knowledge of SAP and Integrity (FIS) is highly valued.
  • Organized person, who is capable of managing a large amount of information in multidisciplinary environments and in coordination with the various areas involved.
  • Person with initiative, proactive and capable of working autonomously and as a team.
