Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. You will also assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the Configuration Lead and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of the configuration management plan. You will also analyze software configuration requirements and provide recommendations for customization to meet specific business needs. Additionally, you will participate in team discussions and contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Assist in the design and implementation of software configuration and customization. - Analyze software configuration requirements and provide recommendations for customization. - Collaborate with the Configuration Lead and other team members to ensure successful implementation of the configuration management plan. - Participate in team discussions and contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems. - Support the Configuration Lead in implementing the configuration management plan. -Work as Oracle DBA for MS Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with database administration. - Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL. - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Hands-on experience with database backup and recovery procedures. - Solid grasp of database security best practices. - RAC Experience, ASM, Datagaurd, Backup and Recovery, Patching, Upgrading and performance tunning Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in PostgreSQL Administration. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
