Are you a Master’s student in Law with an interest in (international) data protection, law and technology, and real-world legal challenges? Join Fugro’s Global Compliance team and gain hands-on experience in navigating data protection regulation in a dynamic global business environment. As an intern, you will contribute to our internal processes for reviewing and approving business activities and systems that involve personal data.

Given our presence in complex jurisdictions and our handling of sensitive personal data, privacy compliance is essential to maintaining trust and integrity across our operations.

Your Role

• Supporting the review of internal requests from project teams, such as evaluating whether a new application can be onboarded from a privacy perspective, and helping to identify potential privacy risks and mitigation strategies;

• Drafting templates, summaries, and guidance documents to assist the business in understanding data privacy requirements in specific scenarios;

• Provide support with maintaining the Global Repository of Processing Activities, where you will have a leading role in connecting with various business teams and collecting relevant input regarding our processing activities.

Your trackrecord

• You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in IT Law, Law and Technology, or a related field;

• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with complexity;

• You are available at least 3 days per week for 6 months (start date flexible).
