The OhioRISE Training Manager is responsible for leading the design, coordination, delivery, and oversight of training for OhioRISE Care Coordinators. This role serves as the primary liaison with the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (COE) and internal partners to ensure OhioRISE Care Coordinators within Aetna and the Care Management Entities (CMEs) receive timely, role-specific, and compliant training. The position drives onboarding, ongoing education, field readiness, and training strategy while supporting compliance with Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), OhioRISE Care Management Entity (CME) Manual requirements, and applicable Aetna program standards.
Develop and lead the overall OhioRISE care coordinator training strategy and annual training roadmap for Aetna, CME, and stakeholder audiences.
Create a structured training plan that supports onboarding, field readiness, continuing education, office hours, refresher sessions, and targeted remediation.
Assess training needs, identify gaps, and prioritize learning interventions based on operational performance, audit findings, policy changes, and stakeholder feedback.
Serve as the primary liaison with the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (COE) regarding Wraparound and OhioRISE training needs for Aetna and CME Care Coordinators, Supervisors, and stakeholders.
Coordinate required and supplemental training opportunities with COE and other training partners to ensure role-based access to current learning content.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to align training calendars, communications, participation expectations, and follow-up support.
Organize, schedule, and coordinate all trainings, office hours, and other educational offerings for CME and Aetna Care Coordinators.
Manage training logistics including registration, attendance tracking, materials, facilitation support, and post-training follow-up.
Develop or adapt job aids, facilitator guides, training decks, and learning resources that promote consistency and operational readiness.
Facilitate or support training sessions as needed and ensure stakeholders have access to timely guidance on workflows, expectations, and best practices.
Maintain compliance with applicable training requirements outlined in Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), OhioRISE care coordination guidance, the OhioRISE Provider Agreement, and the OhioRISE Care Management Entity (CME) Manual.
Monitor completion of required care coordination training curricula, including initial training, field-readiness activities, and training expected within established onboarding timeframes.
Partner with compliance, operations, and leadership teams to maintain training records, support audit readiness, and address training-related corrective actions.
Track policy, manual, and regulatory updates and translate changes into updated training content, communication plans, and implementation support.
Promote adherence to role-specific requirements for OhioRISE Care Coordinators and supervisors, including expectations related to Wraparound practice, documentation, confidentiality, and cross-system collaboration.
Work closely with Tier 1 leadership to coordinate training for Tier 1 Care Coordinators and ensure alignment with operational priorities and role expectations.
Partner with CME leaders, supervisors, compliance staff, and Aetna operational teams to drive consistent training delivery across the OhioRISE program.
Support stakeholder engagement by coordinating educational offerings for internal teams and external partners involved in OhioRISE service delivery.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in training, staff development, care coordination operations, behavioral health, Medicaid managed care, or a related human services setting.
Demonstrated experience developing training strategies, coordinating learning programs, and leading cross-functional implementation efforts.
Knowledge of OhioRISE, Wraparound principles, care coordination practice, Medicaid regulations, and training compliance expectations.
Strong project management, communication, facilitation, organization, and tracking skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
**Candidate must be located in one of the following states: Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania or Indiana**
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with OhioRISE, CMEs, Aetna Medicaid, or child-serving systems in Ohio.
Experience designing onboarding curricula, training materials, and competency-based learning plans.
Familiarity with Ohio Administrative Code, the OhioRISE CME Manual, and required care coordination training pathways.
Experience with training tracking systems, audit preparation, and continuous improvement methods.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, public health, behavioral health, healthcare administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
