As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and optimize assembly processes to meet production targets using Lean Manufacturing principles. Ensure that safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are met within the production process.

     

  • Create and maintain work instructions, assess manpower requirements, and provide support to production lines to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

     

  • Lead the industrialization of new products and process changes, ensuring alignment with project milestones and maintaining a zero-disturbance mindset.

     

  • Define assembly sequences, establish time standards, balance production lines, design workstations, and determine tooling requirements.

     

  • Conduct time studies for new processes using Methods Calculate Time Montage (MCTM) standards to ensure efficiency.

     

  • Identify and assess tooling and equipment needs based on new product changes and process modifications.

     

  • Lead continuous improvement activities focused on enhancing ergonomics, cost efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.

     

  • Implement Industry 4.0 technologies, ensuring flexibility to adapt to product and volume changes.

     

  • Participate in global and regional Manufacturing Engineering networks, contributing to the development and execution of Manufacturing Engineering strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

     

  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on assembly processes and Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Familiarity with industrialization processes for new products and changes in production methods.

     

  • Strong understanding of assembly process design, time studies, line balancing, and tooling requirements.

  • Experience with Methods Calculate Time Montage (MCTM) standards for time studies.

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and ergonomic improvements.

  • Proficiency in implementing Industry 4.0 technologies and adapting to varying product and volume demands.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $67,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
