The Global KYC Team plays a key role as the first line of defense, focusing on anti-money laundering, financial crime compliance, and maintaining a governance framework to manage regulatory risks. Supported by experts and advanced technology, the team ensures compliance and risk management, driving safe growth and setting high standards to protect ACT Group’s employees and clients worldwide. A key focus is improving processes and ensuring seamless KYC service execution. Key components of this role are structuring and improving KYC processes, implementing new technologies for more effective, efficient, and client-centric operations, and ensuring global consistency for flawless service delivery. In essence, your role involves:
- Leads a global (on site & virtual) team of 5-7 experts and business analysts, overseeing KYC execution, operational results, budget, and recruitment.
- Creates an environment for consistent performance, coaching and developing team members to meet standards and grow their capabilities.
- Designs and enables new, client-centric, simple, and fast processes to improve KYC execution.
- Ensures the adoption of new collaborative processes that align with rules, regulations, and are coordinated across Compliance, Sales, Operations, IT, and Finance departments.
- Enhances client experience by implementing a global KYC and Client Onboarding software to reduce onboarding time.
- Is an inspirational and effective leader by proactively improving the skills of the team and driving global adoption of the KYC software in sync with other strategic IT initiatives like CRM/ CTRM/ GPT.
- Manages operational change, making tough decisions, and executing operational change management with multiple perspectives and complex issues.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as Global KYC or Operational Change Management (client onboarding, AML/CFT, international operational & client account management) within financial industry.
- University degree in Business Economics, Communication, Change Management or gained by experience.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills (strong written and oral communication skills – English: concrete, positive, adapt styles to deliver different messages).
- Working in a multicultural, inclusive, and international environment, engaging with stakeholders across various departments and levels of seniority.
- Ability to adapt quickly while remaining flexible and result focused.
- Supports and encourages constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action.
- Able to articulate strategic vision(s) and increase engagement to achieve targets.
