Oversee the operations of two workstreams within the AskHR APAC team.
Will be responsible for the performance management, career development and KPI of all team members which may come from diverse background
Will lead the implementation of processes, procedures and policies necessary to manage a multi-tiered shared service HR while driving towards standardization at the same time
Will consult, advise and collaborate and forge strong partnership with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners to ensure optimum operation of HR applications and services
Will be responsible for the learning and development of the AskHR team on the HR applications, processes and procedures in place within Medtronic HR with support from the leadership
Will design, implement and execute ASK HR strategies with support from leadership, partner with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objective and proactively resolves HR and business issues, provides solutions through organizational effectiveness and employee life cycle management, anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management, responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison in key projects.
Will build strong partnership and collaborate with other back office support function : IT, Finance, RDA on ensuring we provide an integrated solution for interrelated data points & processes
To drive operational excellence and adherence to standardized work and procedure. You will proactively support the adoption of Lean culture
Will coach Team Members to identify, resolve and/or escalate as appropriate problems that arise using A3 DMAIC process to identify root cause of issues. You will be responsible to ensure quality of service of the ASK HR team
Together with the ASK HR Leader, drive, lead and/or support regional and global initiatives. Perform a back-up role for the ASK HR Leader when necessary

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Degree level in Human Resources or related discipline is highly desirable
4-5 years of relevant experience in leading/managing a diverse team within HR Shared Services environment in a regional/APAC capacity
Strong fluency in English both in writing and speaking. Fluency in other Asian language a plus but not required
Experience in using ServiceNow, and Workday a big plus
Experienced with leading and developing team members, cross-functional collaboration and communication gaining trust of key stakeholders and developing solutions rapidly to urgent business needs
Tech-savvy, systems thinker and can connect the dots to see the big picture in tackling highly complex situation; Be able to bring the team together in understanding and finding solution for complex issues
