The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for providing life insurance solutions to Bank's clients. He/she will work in coordination with branch sales and service teams; thus, we are looking for a dynamic individual, who has an independent mindset and the drive to succeed.

We Are Looking For Someone With:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and communication skills to effectively interact with bank staff and customers.
  • Sales Acumen: Proficiency in sales techniques and the ability to drive sales performance.
  • Training Ability: Capability to conduct effective training sessions and improve the product knowledge of bank employees.
  • Customer Orientation: A focus on providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and feedback to inform business strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for resolving issues and managing conflicts between Manulife and the bank partner, if any.

On The Job You Will:

Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the bank partner and Manulife, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with bank staff, including branch managers, and other key stakeholders.

Sales Support and Training:

  • Assist bank staff in understanding and selling insurance products. Provide expertise and support during customer interactions, if required.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for bank employees on insurance products, sales techniques, and regulatory requirements.

Business Development:

  • Ensure that licensed bank employees are knowledgeable about the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of the insurance products offered.
  • Collaborate with bank branches to achieve sales targets for insurance products. Develop strategies and action plans to drive sales growth.
  • Design and monitor marketing and sales campaigns in coordination with both bank partner and Manulife Banca S&P teams.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling insurance products to the bank partner’s existing customer base.

Customer Service:

  • Handle customer queries and issues related to insurance products, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in policy servicing activities, such as policy renewals, claims processing, and addressing customer complaints.

Market Intelligence:

  • Observe market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for product development and sales activity improvements.
  • Gather feedback from bank staff and customers to help improve product offerings and service delivery.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure that all sales and marketing activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and relationship status to both Manulife and the bank partner.
  • Work closely with branch sales and service teams to provide innovative product solutions to address client's protection, and long-term saving needs
  • Strengthen the long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service
  • Perform other tasks as required.
