Team Description

 

Our team is looking for a Senior Data Analytics person who will report to a leader in one of the Sabre offices. As part of the Sabre’s Data & Analytics team, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into the strategic insights that guide our Senior Leadership. You’ll also collaborate with professionals to master SQL, Python, and Looker within the GCP framework, and explore the use of LLMs and AI to solve the companies challenges. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing, cleaning, and preparing datasets for actionable insights using Excel, SQL and Python.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Collaborate with team members to build data visualizations and reports using BI platforms (Qlik, Tableau, Looker etc.)
  • Migrate dashboards from Qlik platform to the GCP Looker Environment
  • Troubleshoot and debug data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Support automation tasks, streamlining processes and improving team efficiency.
  • Contribute to brainstorming and solution design discussions within the team
  • Able to execute on the tasks/functions that the Supervisor assigns

 

 Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including data manipulation and modeling
  • Curious mindset and self-starter; ability to interpret data and communicate message clearly and concisely in English
  • Excellent communication and people skills with an ability to work across an organization, developing key relationships
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strategic thinking to anticipate potential issues and suggest creative alternatives to overcome barriers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with advanced skills in Excel
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Python scripts, as well as with BI tools such as Looker, QlikSense etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
