What can you expect?
As an Advanced Quality Engineer focused on customer service for Mercedes, you are responsible for ensuring quality requirements are met throughout product and process development, as well as during program launch. You serve as a key interface between internal teams, suppliers, and the customer Mercedes.

What will your responsibilities be?
Evaluate product and process changes from a quality perspective
Manage part history in the Mercedes Supplier Portal
Support seat sampling process according to VDA 2 in collaboration with Mercedes
Deliver quality-related tasks in line with the Adient Management System (e.g. audits, DFMEA/PFMEA, control plan creation)
Participate in internal and external meetings (SDT, Jour Fix) as quality representative
Support program launch regarding quality concerns
Contribute to problem-solving during program execution
Prepare Emphasis Builds and Parts Tables and track related issues
Manage suppliers according to APQP and VDA RGA standards
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
Solid knowledge of VDA 6.3, VDA 2, VDA RGA and APQP
Experience with problem-solving methods (e.g. 8D, Kepner-Tregoe)
Familiarity with SCIO DFMEA/PFMEA
Technical education
Knowledge of PPAP and VDA 2 sampling processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good command of English (minimum B2) and basic German (minimum A2)
Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive industry (Mercedes systems experience is a plus)
