We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Credit Risk Team.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Conduct in-depth valuation reviews for residential properties used as collateral.

  • Analyze market data, comparable sales, rental trends, and economic factors to assess property values accurately.

  • Review third-party appraisals for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to valuation standards.

  • Identify potential risks in collateral valuations and escalate to appropriate authority to mitigate those risks.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal risk management policies.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of valuation methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 3+ years work experience in financial services industry

  • Detail oriented, with exceptional analytical skills.

  • Strong sense of urgency required with ability to multitask in a dynamic, demanding environment.

  • Ability to Work well with little supervision receptive to feedback and training intended to improve employer's ability to perform at increasing levels of independence.

  • Well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Possess strong problem identification and solution techniques.

  • Good collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment

  • Bachelor's Degree and previous experience in US Residential Mortgage preferred.
