How You’ll Make an Impact

• Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver high-value energy studies.

• Build and refine power system models for simulation and analysis.

• Conduct technical research and apply advanced analytics.

• Create compelling reports and presentations for clients.

• Engage directly with customers to solve complex grid challenges.

• Provide expert advice on transmission planning and system reliability.

• Explore emerging technologies like AI/ML and energy storage.

• Drive continuous improvement in consulting processes and tools.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power/Energy Systems and 3 years of experience, or Master’s with 1 year, or PhD.

• Skilled in power system simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, MATLAB, DSATools).

• Familiar with programming, AI/ML, and power system analysis.

• Experience in transmission planning, load flow, stability, and fault studies.

• Exposure to renewables, EV charging, and energy storage systems.

• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
