How You’ll Make an Impact
Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver high-value energy studies.
Build and refine power system models for simulation and analysis.
Conduct technical research and apply advanced analytics.
Create compelling reports and presentations for clients.
Engage directly with customers to solve complex grid challenges.
Provide expert advice on transmission planning and system reliability.
Explore emerging technologies like AI/ML and energy storage.
Drive continuous improvement in consulting processes and tools.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power/Energy Systems and 3 years of experience, or Master’s with 1 year, or PhD.
Skilled in power system simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, MATLAB, DSATools).
Familiar with programming, AI/ML, and power system analysis.
Experience in transmission planning, load flow, stability, and fault studies.
Exposure to renewables, EV charging, and energy storage systems.
Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
