Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Category Lead - Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Services to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the global category strategy, managing complex end-to-end sourcing projects, and optimizing our global footprint for cost and scalability.

You will join a high-impact team of subject matter experts dedicated to transforming traditional vendor relationships into value-driven partnerships within a mature global environment.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Execute Category Strategy: Deliver the global Business Process Outsourcing and Information Technology (IT) Services roadmap by identifying demand management opportunities and implementing best-in-class commercial structures, including Output-based, Outcome-based, and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) models.

• Lead Strategic Sourcing and Contracting: Manage the full lifecycle of complex Request for Proposal, Quotation, or Information (RFx) processes and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) with a focus on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Ensure Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Partner closely with Legal and Risk teams to manage jurisdictional and data privacy risks, ensuring all third-party engagements align with rigorous organizational compliance standards.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8-12 years of progressive experience in Procurement and Category Management, including at least 4 years specifically focused on Business Process Outsourcing and Information Technology Outsourcing services.

• Strong knowledge of BPO pricing mechanics and market trends regarding automation, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

• Proven ability in strategic stakeholder management, acting as a trusted advisor to Global Business Services (GBS), IT, and Operations leadership to align procurement with business transformation goals.

• A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Master of Business Administration (MBA); Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualifications are highly preferred.
