The opportunity:
To strengthen our Electrophysiology division we are looking to hire a Clinical Development Specialist in Finland.
What you'll Do:
Execute strategic direction per competitor account with territory manager & support sales team in engaging trial/use of Abbott technology.
Install responsibility and immersion of Field Technical Engineer in account during trial phase.
Roll out of LMR and clinical projects.
Focused on Tier 1 accounts as priority across all relevant customers, secondary is Tier 2.
Participate in the creation of tailor-made training programs based on customer needs and requirements and perform product presentations and training to new customers.
Provide primary technical support to physicians and nurses during Electrophysiology procedures using Abbott equipment over the assigned territory while bringing new centers/physicians on board.
Support EP strategy and its execution, by supporting all activities related to the promotion of EP products, including internal and external educational programs, customer clinical training and other Abbott events
Respond to technical questions that might be raised by customer personnel
Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new Abbott products, therapies and technologies as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market
Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge, including clinical studies, to consistently support Abbott’s product advantages
Understand how Abbott’s product portfolio compares to competition, to be able to offer an Abbott’s solution to customer in as many situations as possible
Produce concise market and competition reports for the Sales and Marketing team, providing the organization with competitive devices information.
Check that products are in stock according to relevant Abbott’s policies in place
Requirements:
University diploma in a scientific field or equivalent in experience
Holds or at the final stages of obtaining IBHRE/EHRA accreditation
5+ years’ experience in EP 3DM Mapping
In-depth experience in a EP technical role, ideally 3 years
Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge
Fluent in Finnish and English
Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to support Abbott’s product technically and from a sales perspective
Strong Communication skills.
Willingness to travel
