Job Summary:

THE TEAM 

Working closely with a small team in the Reporting Finance team whom are responsible for the reporting and management of the organisations and its subsidiaries financial matters. The team on a day to day basis assists various stakeholders in their decision making from the financial reports, financial data insights produced.  This position will work cooperatively as part of the broader Finance team. The role also requires liaison and teamwork with other colleagues in the Finance Department and across the company to ensure individual performance objectives and key tasks are met. 

 

THE JOB 

The overall objective of the role is to assist the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the Ticketmaster Group of Companies financial information to the various stakeholders, including International Corporate, Local Management, Staff, Suppliers and Clients.  The role will perform the day-to-day reconciliations/data insights/reporting to the business to ensure the stakeholders are informed of the organisations on going performance.   

This is an 18-month fixed term contract role with full time hours.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 

 

Financial Reporting 

  • Month end preparation and reporting 

  • PL reporting for various departments 

  • Cost Analysis (from time to time) 

  • Assist with Company taxation returns and calculations 

  • Assist with year-end company audit 

  • Doubtful Debts Provisions and Follow up of outstanding items with AR 

  • Indirect Advertising and Marketing Cost management 

  • Deferred Revenue, Cost and Tax entries (USGAAP) 

  • Ancillary Ticketing Recording management and EOM control 

 

Cash Management 

  • Daily bank reconciliation support 

  • Follow up on timing clearance of outstanding items 

  • Report on required cash flow to business on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. 

 

Management of Inter-company Recharge 

  • Liaise with other group companies to verify inter-company balances 

  • Update inter-company reconciliation tracker 

  • Maintain realised foreign exchange register. 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS) 

  •  Bachelor of Accounting degree 

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate accounting 

  • Month end knowledge (preferable) 

  • CPA/CA qualified or near completion 

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Willingness to listen & learn 

  • A team player and able to respond promptly, supporting and assisting the team when required. 

  • Ability to use own initiative 

  • Self-Motivated & Accountable 

  • High level of attention to detail 

  • Flexible hours required to suit business needs
