What you will do-
- Act as the primary legal focal point for all legal matters related to the Mexico operation.
- Handle legal aspects of contracts, disputes, reviews, and legal risks, serving as a key advisor to various business functions including Sales, Bidding, and Supply Chain.
- Manage a range of legal contracts including commercial sales agreements, distributor agreements, bidding contracts, and product regulatory agreements, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide legal counsel on new product regulatory approvals and sanitary registrations in alignment with Mexican legal standards.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Mexican laws and jurisprudence to offer strategic legal guidance and act as a business partner to Sales, Bidding, and Supply Chain teams.
- Collaborate extensively with Sales, Bidding, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance departments, ensuring legal alignment across functions.
- Develop and conduct in-house training and education initiatives on internal processes.
- Offer timely advice and counsel to clients, supported by accurate information and research regarding laws and regulations.
What you need-
- Bachelor’s degree in law and admission to practice law in Mexico required.
- Previous experience in similar positions in multinational and matrix companies required.
- Advanced English skills required.
- Experience in the Medical Devices Industry desired.
Travel Percentage: 20%
