Summary: An Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Technical Consultant designs, develops, and customizes Oracle EBS applications to meet business needs, utilizing technical skills like PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework). They specialize in RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Forms/Workflows), focusing on technical aspects of modules like Financials, Supply Chain, and Human Capital Management to solve complex technical challenges for clients. Roles & Responsibilities: - Analysis & Design: Analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions for Oracle EBS Finance modules. - Development & Customization: Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows (RICEW components) using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and XML Publisher. - Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, system errors, and integration challenges across functional and technical layers. - Data Management & Migration: Perform data analysis, validation, and migration during implementation or upgrade projects. Support migration of code across instances (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD) using FNDLOAD, Version Control tools (Git, SVN). - Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams and business users to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and provide technical support. - Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including MD050 and MD070 specifications. - Project Support: Participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing activities to ensure system stability and performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Programming Languages: Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. - Reporting Tools: Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, and XML Publisher for creating reports and analytics. - Oracle EBS Components: Strong experience with core Finance modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. - Development Tools: Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Reports, and Workflow. - Methodologies: Understanding of project methodologies like AIM or UIM. - Communication: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications Development. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
