Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle CC&B Conversion Lead with 12+ years of experience having a strong background in Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) to lead and manage data conversion activities for Oracle Utilities implementations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in data migration strategies, CC&B configurations, and full lifecycle implementations, ensuring seamless data conversion and integration for Oracle CC&B projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Lead the data conversion process for Oracle CC&B implementations, ensuring the seamless extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from legacy systems to Oracle CC&B.
-Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather data requirements, identify data sources, and develop conversion strategies.
-Develop and execute detailed conversion plans, including data mapping, validation, and testing, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the conversion process.
-Coordinate with the technical teams to design, configure, and implement custom conversion tools, scripts, and utilities.
-Lead the data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities, ensuring accurate migration of billing, customer, and meter data into the Oracle CC&B system.
-Monitor and manage the conversion progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure timely and successful conversion.
-Perform data validation and reconciliation after each conversion phase to ensure that data in the new system matches legacy system data.
-Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure conversion processes align with business requirements and CC&B system configurations.
-Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members, ensuring best practices in data conversion and migration.
-Document conversion methodologies, processes, and lessons learned for future reference.
-Strong understanding of Oracle CC&B architecture, configuration, and data model.
-Expertise in data migration tools, techniques, and ETL processes for Oracle CC&B.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-In-depth knowledge of CC&B modules such as customer management, billing, collections, and metering. -Experience in working with legacy systems and converting data to Oracle CC&B, including customer data, billing history, meter readings, and account data.
-Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant tools for data extraction and transformation. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex data issues and provide practical solutions.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and ensure data migration aligns with business objectives.
-Strong understanding of Oracle CC&B architecture, configuration, and data model.
