We are hiring a production supervisor to lead our Kitchen operations. You will report to the Business Unit manager and work with a team of 550 employees where we produce our delicious Libby's Vienna Sausage, VanCamps Baked Beans, Wendy's chili, Healthy Choice Soups, Hunt's Manwich and Spaghetti Sauces and so much more.

Position Responsibilities

  • You will be a leadership presence spending time on the production floor leading and coaching employees on their job responsibilities and ensuring they have the resources required to perform their jobs.
  • You will ensure that all resources are available to maintain efficient production schedules.
  • You will support the plant's continuous improvement goals in Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Service.
  • You will enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.
  • You will promote a high level of compliance to defined employee safety and quality requirements.

Position Qualifications

  • You have a high school diploma or GED, ideally a bachelor's degree in food science, Agricultural Sciences, or other Natural Science.
  • You have 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • You can support manufacturing requirements with availability to work weekends or off-shifts.

Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of this job, you are required to talk and hear. You are required to stand and walk. You are required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. You will occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. You will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies in temperature.
