Job Summary

Kellogg is looking for an experienced, sharp, and innovative Agent Support representative to help improve communication, organization and coordination between agents, agencies, and carriers.  A successful Agent Support representative will build relationships and remove obstacles for agents and Kellogg, enabling sales growth success.  This position will work with the Kellogg team in the Draper, Utah home office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in professional verbal and written communication with agents.
  • Ability to manage multiple email inboxes and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Capable of handling phone calls from agents/agencies and carriers and returning voicemails in a timely manner.
  • Experienced in using Excel and Word for creating and managing reports and templates for agents.
  • Responsible for conducting “Welcome Calls” and introducing new agents to Kellogg Insurance and its resources.
  • Knowledgeable about various Medicare carriers and their processes.
  • Understanding of commission structures from carriers.
  • Adept at troubleshooting issues for agents, related to their clients.
  • Ability to learn/use multiple systems and resources provided by Kellogg for agents.
  • Collaborative, able to work with team members and other departments.
  • Capable of assisting with and understanding certifications for Medicare carriers.
  • Proficient in navigating different carrier websites.
