Why this role is exciting! 

As a Director of Sales Development, you will focus on managing the team responsible for creating engagement with brands through both the inbound and outbound channels.  You will have the opportunity to be creative and develop campaigns and strategies within the team as well through collaboration with other teams such as revenue operations, marketing, enablement, etc.

What you will be doing: 

  • Develop and retain world-class front line sales development reps that live and drive our values each day
  • Manage a team of individual contributors focused on converting both inbound and outbound leads
  • Execute a best in class all-bound engagement strategy
  • Create and execute strategic campaigns that are customized based on vertical and persona
  • Work closely with other Sales Units, Revenue Operations,Marketing, Enablement and the Executive team to maximize the impact of marketing efforts and other lead driving channels
  • Achieve/exceed monthly and annual acquisitions goals that support our booking goals
  • Ensure that sales development reps are advancing their product and sales skills that support their career growth and daily effectiveness
  • Assess potential new markets, personas and strategies
  • Track and assess development activities by individual and team and report results to management

Does this sound like you?  

  • 2+ years of experience managing a sales team (AEs or SDRs)
  • Experience working in or with Revenue Operations, Marketing, or Enablement
  • Proven record of results - hitting/exceeding sales goals
  • Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written
  • Proven history of developing and executing creative business development campaigns
  • General knowledge of ecommerce marketing, sales, recruiting, and assessing result
  • Experience leveraging sales tools such as, Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, 6Sense, Linkedin, Zoominfo, etc.
  • Excited to work with the team in our New York office in person at least 2 days per week

Salary range: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, plus additional variable commission plan of $50,000.00- $60,000.00 and eligible to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.
