The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

The mission of the Sales Strategy & Operations group is to maximize business performance by being an objective, trusted partner to the Revenue Organization. The Senior Sales Compensation Manager plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs that drive sales performance and align with business objectives.

  • Built commission structure and variable compensation programs that have boosted  sales team motivation and performance
  • Enhanced the teams ability to produce accurate commission payouts while reducing the time needed on commission calculations
  • Partnered with Sales Leadership, Finance, and HR to ensure compensation programs align with company strategy and revenue goals
  • Created and delivered clear communications regarding compensation plans and changes to the sales organization

These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for …

  • Design, deliver, and maintain competitive sales compensation plans, including commission structures, bonus programs, and incentivisation that will drive over achievement across the field
  • Manage the monthly/quarterly commission calculation and payout process with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely processing
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements
  • Manage and maintain sales compensation systems and tools
  • Develop and document compensation policies, procedures, and processes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
  • Provide training and support to revenue orgs on variable compensation-related matters
  • Forecast and manage compensation budgets in partnership with Finance

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

  • 7+ years of experience in sales compensation in a SaaS environment 
  • Proven expertise with incentive compensation plan design including quotas, accelerators, MBOs, and on-target earnings
  • Prior experience managing sales compensation workflows, such as developing incentive plans, executing payout calculations, and overseeing payout administration and reconciliation
  • Highly proficient analytical and mathematical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
  • Strong bias for action! You are willing to roll up your  sleeves to get the work done
  • Proficiency with sales performance and compensation software and tooling
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Prior people management experienceExperience leading a team, ideally in a fast-moving, startup environment

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$162,000$251,000 USD

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
