Description:

The International Business Planning & Operational Excellence Manager within our Cardiometabolic Business Unit is responsible commercial operations and business excellence matters across International Markets.  

The person will work collaboratively with the business to strategically manage and contribute by provide information and analysis that facilitates business decisions in close alignment with the Director International Commercial Excellence and Operations and the respective regional commercial leaders. You will provide decision support across the region, and work with the commercial teams and coordinate with all involved global colleagues (supply, planning, GBS, etc.).

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence across INTL, driving towards a standardization across International Markets: constant improvement of existing interfaces and processes between all relevant internal departments needed for flawless execution of commercial processes such as product supply. Requires analysis of existing processes within ARDx CM which are needed for operational excellence in product supply (e.g. GBS, Logistics, Warehousing, Credit Management, Commercial etc)
  • Demand Planning across INTL: Support the Global Demand Planning team to develop a standard approach for demand planning and coordinate the monthly demand planning cycle for INTL with global demand planning, regional and local commercial leads. Ensure alignment with latest financial business estimates, identify and clarify monthly deviations early on and support improving overall forecast accuracy.
  • Supply Management and demand shaping INTL: in close collaboration with the global supply chain /operations teams– ensure alignment of demand planning, monitoring of supply vs. demand and as needed allocation of product supply to maximize financial performance and customer demand fulfillment.
  • Serve as Project Management Lead for key transformation initiatives within the Commercial Excellence and Operations group, including development and management of integrated project plans, business requirements process, and business readiness planning
  • Understand and work to continuously improve the end-to-end customer processes across many functions (supply chain, sales & marketing, customer service and technical support)
  • Analyze business / operational processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement and to drive efficiency and agility across the organization. Activities are undertaken and executed in support of organizational goals and are accountable for providing business process solutions to meet internal and external stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide adhoc support to commercial excellence activity and initiatives to help maximize top and bottom line results

Minimum Education:

Bachelors degree in Business or relevant major

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

  • Minimum 10+ years of previous experience in Healthcare industry commercial or business
  • Strong business analytical skills
  • Self-starter, with a customer oriented and results driven attitude.
  • Strong communicator with good abilities to listen and co-create.
  • Able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams, cooperating well with all levels.
  • Able to adapt in a quick pacing and complex environment.
  • Result-oriented, skillful communication, high-powered negotiation skills, strategic thinking and project management 
  • Experience in presenting, data analysis and statistics, understand how to communicate with the global teams
  • Should be fluent in both written and spoken English
