SUMMARY
Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager, Channel Sales to optimize and oversee the operational aspects of our global distribution network. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency, profitability, and strategic alignment of our channel programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of distribution models, channel operations, and a proven track record of implementing successful channel programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of key distribution programs, including debit compliance, point of sale (POS) systems, claims processing, inventory management, stock rotation, scrap allowance programs, and the Distributor Advanced Credit Program (DACP).
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure fiscal and business responsibility for all channel operational activities.
Review, update, and improve business systems to support the channel growth strategy.
Analyze and improve channel performance metrics, identifying and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.
Provide operational and administrative support to the Channel Management team for a broad range of channel activities.
Manage the onboarding process for new distributors and develop and execute strategies for channel consolidation.
Develop and implement a comprehensive regional distributor training calendar.
Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for channel managers and distributors.
Design, implement, and manage distributor incentive programs and maintain a Distributor Scorecard.
Collaborate with Sales, Demand Planning, and Finance to develop accurate sales and demand projections and manage the distribution price book.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in channel management, distribution operations, or a similar role within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
Deep understanding of distribution models, channel operations, and best practices.
Experience in developing and implementing successful channel programs and initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
APICS or other relevant certifications.
