Job Description:

The global service organization is responsible for the after sales support of all High Voltage Products in the domestic markets and for selected products also globally, including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.

As the Global Product Manager for High Voltage Service and Growth Initiatives, you will be responsible for leading and aligning the service product management activities globally working with the different service centers and the local product managers and managing the install base of High Voltage products. This position could be located at any of our service units in Europe and is open to remote working.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the development and market launch of innovative service products and offerings for the High Voltage market and related to:
    - Full service and life cycle offerings for High Voltage products
    - Sustainable service offerings such as life time extensions, overhauls, upgrades and replacement solutions by EconiQ products
    - Manage the install base of High Voltage products and associated maintenance and service cycles to enable pro-active customer engagements and service agreements
    - Develop the remote service, connected assets and digitization of our install base and future products
    - Manage lifecycle of our products
    - Actively participate gate reviews for new product development to represent Service

  • Drive alignment of product management activities and service concepts in the Service Centers in order to ensure consistent global market offering (e.g. eco-friendly service offerings, service agreements, digital offering, remote support, life cycle management, sustainability)

  • Participate proactively in strategy development and propose subsequent necessary product development and marketing activities and work closely with the R&D, the marketing and sales and the operations global functions

  • Develop relationships with strategic customers and the account managers to understand their drivers and include their needs in our requirement specifications for new developments

Your background

  • Proven track record in product management

  • Extensive experience in the High Voltage (HV) industry

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

  • Minimum of 10-15 years in relevant roles

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex messages

  • Experience from service in various other areas

  • A passion for sustainability and experience in sustainable practices is a plus
