About you and this role

As a Production Engineering Intern at DOW Chemicals, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and professionals in a dynamic and innovative environment. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in production processes, problem-solving, and project management within the chemical industry. You will contribute to real-world projects that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities / Duties

• Maintain strong field presence to reinforce EH&S principles and provide operational support.

• Works closely with operations team leveraging their problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

• Provides troubleshooting support for critical production and quality issues.

• Maintains and reviews Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and trends to ensure optimum performance.

• Ensures implementation and ongoing effectiveness of global work processes, Operating Discipline, management systems, enabling technologies and roles.

Qualifications

• You are currently studying for a bachelor/master’s degree or equivalent in chemical engineer or mechanical engineer.

• You have a good working knowledge of English and Turkish.

• Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Power Point, Microsoft Excel etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Strong technical, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
