What we are looking for:

Partner Forces is seeking a Communications Analyst to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. This position will play a key role in supporting strategic communications initiatives across the contract. The primary responsibility set for this position involves developing content for internal and external stakeholders, assisting in the execution of communications plans, and leading timely, high-quality communications deliverables. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication expertise and analytical skills to create and manage strategic communications efforts, ensure clarity in messaging, and support DHS initiatives through effective content delivery and stakeholder engagement.

What you will do as a Communications Analyst:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government personnel and teaming partners. 
  • Develop, edit, and manage clear, concise communications materials (e.g., reports, fact sheets, presentations, newsletters) to support DHS’s initiatives and other mission-critical projects.
  • Collaborate with government leadership and subject matter experts to craft communication strategies that effectively convey project goals, updates, and outcomes to a diverse audience.
  • Assist in preparing and disseminating content for internal communications, ensuring consistency with DHS branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, including drafting memos, meeting summaries, and internal briefs to keep all parties informed.
  • Lead timely high-quality deliverables in support of the contract mission.
  • Ensure all materials and content comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, providing accessibility for all audiences.
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality.
  • Contribute to client development activities and internal corporate initiatives.

Qualifications

  • US Citizen (the nature of our contract requires employees be US citizens)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS HQ suitability required; current preferred.
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • DHS and/or government experience preferred.
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and experience ensuring accessibility in communications products.
  • Ability to multi-task and excel in a team environment.
  • Creative problem-solver with experience defining and communicating processes, addressing pain points, and introducing process improvements.
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
  • Have the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and comfort with ambiguity.

$70,000$110,000 USD
