Markets Operations Belfast Overview:

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business.  We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview:

The Operations Analyst is responsible for assisting with the clearance, settlement and investigation of transactions from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team.

What you'll do:

• Execute daily activities efficiently whilst adhering to internal or regulatory deadlines.

• Work in partnership with internal stakeholders across multiple businesses and external clients.

• Interpret data and apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis.

• Investigate any issues that may arise and escalate appropriately.

• Identify procedure gaps and make suggestions for process transformation.

What we’ll need from you:

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive

• Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise

• Strong attention to detail, risk management and control mindset

• Self-motivated, innovative, good problem solver, results orientated.

Successful candidates will attend a two week Market Operations Training Academy if required.

This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.
