RAC Motoring are seeking a passionate and dynamic Marketing Assistant to join their team – this role is integral in assisting with the coordination and implementation of marketing communications to deliver on business objectives.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting Motoring, Finance & Home Services Marketing team to deliver ATL & BTL marketing activities with particular focus on owned channels such as internal communications, website, Horizons, social media, eDMs and direct marketing.
• Briefing, coordinating and producing marketing materials.
• Planogram management and execution at various motoring and sales channel sites.
• Maintaining and updating content on the website and marketing materials.
• Managing review websites and price updates across various marketing channels.
• Content management from third-party suppliers (i.e. Computershare).
• Management of marketing SMSs and DMs (renewals, overdue, cross sell).
• Maintaining stock management for marketing collateral.
• Coordinating internal photoshoots, campaigns and incentives on an ad hoc basis.
• Budget management – raising purchase orders, processing invoices and reconciliation of expenses.
• General administration duties as required.

What are we looking for in you?

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of organisation, attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
• Comfort with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts.
• Familiarity with social media, email marketing, and search engines.
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline is desirable.
