Job Description:
We are looking for a Transportation Manager for a company within the UPS Healthcare Group who will manage a series of activities and the management of multiple teams within the Plant.
The Transportation Manager is responsible for providing transportation strategy support for the Transportation Services business units. This profile creates and communicates a consolidated enterprise view of Transportation Services strategies. In addition, the appointed candidate plans, leads and administers the Transportation Services Program Management Office (PMO), and oversees enterprise performance management measurement and reporting for Transportation Services. This position indirectly manages the work of Functional User Representatives. This profile will be in charge of managing Servisors, and Specialists within the organisation.
The Transportation Manager will be in charge, in particular, of our activities for CCG Direct services (FTL, LTL).

What you'll do:
Supervision of daily operative activities
Management and coordination of two teams (Customer Service and Traffic Team)
Management of the internal fleet
Management of external suppliers
Responsibility for controlling revenues and costs
Contribution to the drafting of the business plan
Monthly and weekly reporting
Participation in projects related to the improvement of internal team activities
Knowledge of the English language is important as the person is involved in collaborations with foreign legal entities

Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple teams
Communication and interpersonal skills
Organisation and time management
Knowledge of project management and familiarity with management software or programs
