What You Will Do

We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Digital Transformation (DX) Technical Program Manager to lead all the activities required to ensure a successful transformation to our Next Generation Subscription Engine for Trimble Field Systems. Primary responsibilities are coordinating, planning, and tracking all DX activities at the team and program level. This includes managing UAT (test plan and execution status) and reporting out status on a regular cadence.

This role will involve:

  • Leadership: Demonstrate personal characteristics others choose to emulate, motivating a diverse team to achieve exceptional results

  • Planning: Facilitate and drive PI (Program Increment) planning with the stakeholders and development teams. Maintain a robust plan for delivery through the releases

  • Reporting: Update weekly status report

  • Delivery: Help teams improve outcomes using DX Agile Methodology.  Coaching and mentoring teams to improve their contribution and delivery.  Guide, mentor, and motivate project team members and influence them to take positive action and engage in continuous improvement of the project management process

  • Continuous Improvement: Always looking for opportunities to do things better. Conduct regular retrospectives with the team and manage the actions

  • Accountability: Coordinate activities between all stakeholders to deliver, while working within the business constraints. Understand Resource constraints and work with business teams to resolve conflicting priorities. Work closely across DTO and Sector/Divisional Teams to deliver each release

  • Monitor and Control Projects: Control Scope with the teams.  Manage the trade-off decisions of Schedule, Quality, and time with the Transformation Directors/Workstream Leaders

  • Identify Risk: Supporting the delivery team to manage risk.  Identify issues and remedial action plans, finding solutions, escalating through the programme as required to find resolution  

  • Influence: Have the ability to influence the outcome of the project using your project management skills.

What you will bring?

Along with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills, you will also need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business degree, or a related field

  • Demonstrated project management expertise delivering software projects, working directly with critical stakeholders in business, engineering, and technology

  • Experience with successful agile and digital transformations    

  • Highly focused with regard to meeting objectives with a proven track record of achieving /exceeding targets regularly and consistently

  • Flexibility with respect to work assignments, new learning, managing new business initiatives

  • Managed complex technical projects

  • Background that strategically executes while coaching and influencing others

  • Proactive, Strategic, and analytical abilities to mitigate and reduce risks    

  • Background and experience gathering requirements (Product) and testing best practices    

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification  

  • Scrum Master certification 

  • Scaled Agile certifications (Scaled Agile Program Consultant, RTE) preferred  

  • Experience in Salesforce CPQ, Oracle AR, Event-driven architectures preferred.
