Pet Store / Pet Boarding/Daycare facility in Point Loma looking for FULLTIME kennel tech and store employee. You must be available to work some holidays. We are looking for a very hard-worker with a positive attitude that MUST LOVE ALL DOGS AND CATS.

Absolutely required:

-          Experience with animals. Must be comfortable in large groups of dogs, comfortable handling cats, etc.

-          Reliable transportation, live close-by. There is a potential to be called in to work at last minute

-          Be able to work both Saturdays and Sundays and all Holidays

-          Customer service skills and cash register/cash-handling experience

-          Able to lift up to 50lbs

-          Positive attitude and pay very close attention to detail

-          YOU MUST BE A CLEANER! This is the main part of this job.

Job Duties:

-          Feeding and medicating boarding animals

-          Bathing dogs and cats including nail trims, ear cleaning, etc.

-          Rotating dogs to backyard throughout the day

-          Supervising doggie playtime outside

-          Off-premise dog walking

-          Clean/sanitizing dog runs and cat cages

-          Administering vaccines

-          Cleaning/sanitizing kennel and outside area

-          Checking-in and out boarding/daycare/grooming animals

-          Assisting front desk/store staff when necessary

$17.50-$19 per hour
