Impact

As a Sr. FP&A Manager located in Birmingham, AL or Minneapolis, MN you will be leading core Enterprise Financial Planning routines and ensuring that our short, medium and long range financial plans are built and delivered as part of a rigorous and collaborative process. You will serve as the trusted Finance partner for the HR team, leading our total compensation planning & analysis. You will be responsible for managing our total company OpEx planning process, including setting OpEx planning strategy and company guardrails.

While no two days are the same, you will influence organizational decision making, mentor others to support their growth and development and proactively lead across your peer group to optimize spend across business units. You will work with select business teams in budget planning & reporting routines. Build and maintain financial models used to forecast company performance, create executive level presentations to share out forecast and performance insights. Partner with the HR team on total company compensation and OpEx forecasting and reporting. Lastly, ad hoc financial analysis projects as needed.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • You have 6-9 years in accounting, data analytics, and/or corporate finance
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
  • You have an MBA Degree (preferred) with strong academic performance and/or equivalent experience
  • You have experience developing executive level content and presentations (using industry standard tools such as powerpoint, google slides, etc)
  • You have experience financial modeling experience with solid understanding of a corporate P&L
  • You are a strong communicator with proven ability to communicate across functions and departments
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skills
  • You have strong attention to detail and passion for accuracy in reporting
  • You are comfortable with navigating ambiguity and complex financial data
  • You have the ability to build discipline and rigor across processes and governance

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Pay Range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City: 

$86,357-$172,715

All other locations:

$72,035-$143,964

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
