Job Overview

As part of our newly established LPL’s Client Readiness Program, our vision is that every ‘New2LPL’ client enters business as usual, ready to engage with confidence, no matter their size or complexity. We are a consulting organization within LPL that delivers a digital experience augmented by specialized consultants across platform, business, and technology domain areas. As a Learning & Enablement Specialist for the Client Readiness Program you will focus on developing and advancing the client experience by providing self-service educational tools and resources available for any client to leverage, regardless of affiliation. Additionally, this role will assist the Enablement & Engagement AVP with managing our digital community presence and one-to-many digital events for ‘New2LPL’ clients, such as creating content for webinars, recorded training, and demonstrations. Your expertise will bridge strategic vision with hands-on design, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies to develop scalable, efficient, and engaging digital solutions that drive client engagement and proficiency.

The primary goals for this position include:

  • Focus on the LPL client perspective and embraces a culture of making it easy for them to do business with us

  • Create confident LPL clients regardless of affiliation structure (including, but not limited to, Advisors, Institutional & Enterprise Leadership, and End-Clients) by helping build high-quality, scalable digital assets

  • Harmonize digital asset standards and content across platform, business, and technology domains to ensure a cohesive end-to-end journey, from LPL prospect to client

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: In partnership with leadership design, develop, implement, and evaluate in support of our emerging Client Readiness educational learning paths. Create solutions at the direction of leadership ranging from best practices and resource collateral to microlearning and video tutorials as part of a comprehensive e-learning course

  • Collaboration & Consultation: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and/or harmonize existing content and educational assets across our three domains of Platform, Business, and Tech Readiness, ensuring digital solutions are accurate, relevant, and aligned to business goals

  • Content Creation: Develop dynamic training content for our Client Readiness learning modules utilizing a suite of modern tools, which may include the use of one or more tools such as:

    • Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for documentation and presentation

    • Adobe Illustrator

    • Camtasia, Vimeo, or similar for video production and editing

    • Canva for visual design assets

    • AI-Enhanced Tools (e.g., for content scripting, image generation, efficiency gains)

  • Content Standards & Governance: Establish and maintain a content governance model for client-facing digital assets connected to the Client Readiness Program, which includes audit routines, design standards, and templates, in accordance with LPL brand and regulatory guidelines to ensure consistency and quality

  • Digital Community and Enablement Support: In partnership with the AVP Enablement & Engagement, provide day-to-day support and of the ‘New2LPL’ digital client community. Additionally, provide project-based support for conferences and other events, such as:

    • Create and manage a rolling calendar for client events (conferences, open audience one-to-many webinars, etc.)

    • Identify and secure relevant topics and speakers

    • Own end-to-end event execution, including setup, registration, promotion, hosting, and post-event follow-up

    • Manage logistics such as speaker coordination, rehearsals, tech setup, and, if applicable, live Q&A moderation for Client Readiness Program events

    • Ensure content and recordings are compliant

    • Partner with the analytics team to deliver webinar insights and outcomes with leadership and internal stakeholders, helping refine future strategy

  • Innovation & Improvement: Stay abreast of new learning technologies and methodologies in partnership with Advisor L&D.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience developing educational resources and/or digital learning pathways

Core Competencies:

  • Experience with the full lifecycle of educational projects, from needs analysis to rollout and measurement

  • Proven experience designing training for multiple, distinct user groups or affiliate networks

  • Ability to simplify complex technical or operational information into engaging, user-centric training

  • Strong portfolio showcasing skills in e-learning development, video production, and visual design

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills

  • Hands-on experience leveraging artificial intelligence tools to augment the design

Preferences:

  • Formal certification in instructional design, project management (PMP), or educational technology

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience in Financial Service


 

Pay Range:

$62,006.00 - $103,309.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
