Your Mission:
Blizzard is on a quest to find a dedicated Marketing Coordinator to join the Overwatch 2 marketing team in Irvine, CA, on a six-month contract. This individual will support the marketing team with various tasks related to the go-to-market planning and execution for the Overwatch 2.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, collaborative, and eager to learn. They possess a basic understanding of marketing principles and are passionate about the video game industry - its players and best practices - and interested in contributing to the success of Overwatch 2 seasonal content and experiences!
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities:
Assist with go-to-market planning and execution of Overwatch seasons and tentpole campaigns across functions including Brand Marketing, Content Marketing, Life Cycle Marketing, Digital Commerce Platforms, PR, and more.
Support GTM communications across Overwatch 2’s various cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and alignment against business and campaign objectives. This includes organizing regular meetings, monitor various communication channels, and providing updates to keep everyone informed and engaged.
Utilize our project management tool to create and maintain a comprehensive go-to market timeline. This includes tracking milestones, keeping info up-to-date and identifying potential issues early to ensure timely execution of each seasonal go-to market plan.
Conduct research on competitors’ live ops updates and marketing activities. Analyze their strategies and performance to develop actionable insights that can help us position each Overwatch season more efficiently and stay ahead in the market
Continuously evaluate the current go-to-market process to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and improve overall effectiveness of our go-to market eTorts.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
1+ years relevant work experience in marketing or a related field
Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated strength in organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated strength with written and presentation skills
Key Attributes
Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage & complete multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Extra Points
Passion for FPS games and/or Overwatch 2.
Proficiency with popular project management tools such as Airtable, Monday.com, Jira, or Asana

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $21.63 - $40.02 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
