The US Comirnaty Adult Brand Channel Lead is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and innovative colleague.  This role will report to the Senior Director, US Adult Comirnaty HCP Team Lead and will be the brand’s point person for strategy, coordination, and alignment across key channels including retail, LTC and employer.  This role requires working very closely with the Customer and Channel’s Group (CCG) and ensuring a comprehensive approach to how the brand should be positioned and represented.  The candidate will also work closely across functional teams (retail contracting & innovation marketing, account management, policy, corporate affairs, medical, BAI, etc.) to support US market preparation and launch execution and will ensure all key milestones and metrics are developed, tracked, and achieved on time.  Additionally, this individual will have an innovative mindset and entrepreneurial spirt, with a desire to work in white space, and ability to uncover new opportunities to help increase COVID-19 adult vaccination. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Closely monitor and leverage key customer insights (ie pharmacists) around COVID-19 vaccination, identify potential opportunities to evolve strategies and drive immunization rates and brand choice, ie; partner to understand dynamic retail needs in creating an optimal customer experience in stores
  • Develop channel and customer insights to inform launch access strategies and annual operating plans 
  • In partnership with CCG, develop comprehensive retail tactical plan to ensure appropriate promotion across channels and across in store, digital, and non-personal promotion
  • Partner closely with HCP team, leverage and build on tactics/ideas to be used in the retail space
  • Regularly analyze performance by channel and help present to leadership and/or customer facing colleagues to share updates on brand performance, strategy and key insights needed to drive execution
  • Accountable to coordinate across US Adult Marketing team and CCG to ensure a US vaccines portfolio approach to top national retail chain decision makers and other stakeholders and ensure customer value proposition and marketing/partnership initiatives are developed with a portfolio centric approach that will enable increasing vaccination rates
  • Develop 65+ adult strategy across key channels, specifically in retail, to help pull through potential additional dose approval (fall ’24 or Q1 ’25)
    • Explore and deliver on additional channels to help drive COVID-19 vaccination such as LTC, travel and urgent care
    • Lead brand calls with Channel Field teams and develop customer communications as needed
  • Manages relationships with agencies, external colleagues, and internal business partners to align customer journeys and strategies across target audiences as well as ensure regulatory/legal and compliance requirements are met
  • Assess program and tactic performance, leveraging analytics and research to identify successes and opportunities to optimize
  • Monitors market dynamics, technological innovations, vaccination trends and events to develop innovative solutions to differentiate the company
  • Ensure plans maximize brand value and provide regular senior leader updates on promotional strategies, tactics and performance.
  • Actively participate in fostering positive team culture and collaboration across the team.
  • Continue the innovative and agile spirit of the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA Degree Required; MBA Preferred
  • 10 or more years of marketing experience (retail or HCP)
  • Employer, LTC, Urgent care channel experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong individual contributor with ability to lead through influence (no direct reports)
  • High level change agility, flexibility, and comfort with addressing and adapting to ambiguity
  • Demonstrated quality in oral and written communication and presentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with the Pharmacy or Retail channel strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of success with working effectively in a team-based environment, balancing diverse cross-functional perspectives, strong problem solving, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Vaccines experience

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
