PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

What We Do

Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business.

What You'll Do

Responsible for the strategic execution of the ecosystem economy. This includes building new product specs driven by data to support the economy. This role requires a visionary leader with a strategic mindset and strong operational product management skills with a deep understanding of the gaming and digital UGC content landscape. The ideal candidate will drive growth, optimize processes, and foster innovative partnerships (internally and with creators and brands) to enhance our platform’s ecosystem and user engagement.

In this role, you will

  • Strategic Product Management and Execution: Identify and evaluate market trends, opportunities, and competition to inform strategic decisions and collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic initiatives with overall company goals
  • Market and Data Analysis: Conduct market research and data analysis to inform strategic initiatives, monitor industry trends, and utilize data-driven insights to improve user experience and engagement
    Product Development: Align and manage roadmap agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes and develop/execute programs to drive engagement and monetization
  • Financial Data Analysis and Management: Monitor and report on financial performance and implement feedback as needed
  • Business Operations: Oversee daily operations related to UGC games and optimize workflows, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability; build and maintain relationships with UGC creators, gaming influencers, and brand partners
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, legal, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives; coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on goals and priorities and facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of software product management experience
  • Strong understanding of UGC platforms in gaming, and where the market is trending
  • Experience simplifying ambiguous problem spaces to drive alignment with stakeholders
  • A passion for games and a deep understanding of growth, retention, and monetization principles and mechanics as it relates to 3rd party developers
  • Experience architecting and leading monetization & economy-related products
  • Experience collaborating with a variety of strategic stakeholders to bring a product vision to life
  • Direct experience working with creators on UGC gaming platforms is a plus
