Laundry Lead - DHK Linen - Full Time - Evening Shift

From friendly smiles and conversations, to the continuous focus on infection control, our linen professionals help to provide a positive experience for everyone within our hospital. If you’re ready to play a key role in the care and caring of our patients, explore the following position: 

Supervise and coordinate the activities of DHK Linen department to ensure effective departmental operations, under general direction. Conduct on-the-job training, answer job-related questions. Ensure maximum works flows and efficiency with regards to linen deliveries and soiled linen recovery. Refer distribution, coordination and operational problems to the appropriate individuals as required. May perform routine tasks such as cart packing, soiled linen recovery and/or clean linen deliveries on a daily basis. Upholds appropriate quality control programs to ensure the quality of departmental services and operations. Maintains safety standards to ensure maximum protection for patients and employees. Recommends personnel action as appropriate.

This is a full time, evening shift position.

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED
• Two to three years of previous experience
• Knowledge in supervising
• Knowledge in Laundry and Linen Distribution Operation
