Criminal Justice Certification Program Manager (Compliance & Regulator Manager 1) –
This recruitment is for one (1), full-time position located in Salem, OR (4190 Aumsville Hwy SE) and is a management service – supervisory position therefore not represented by a union. What you will be doing:
This position directs, develops and coordinates the Department’s Criminal Justice Certification Program, including having oversight over minimum standards for employment, training, certification, certification maintenance and officer records. This position is responsible for determining if mandatory standards and training requirements are met for all criminal justice constituents throughout the state, recommending rules and statutory changes when appropriate.
This position coordinates with the Oregon State Bureau of Identification and the FBI for nationwide criminal records checks of applicants for certification and coordinates all Board and Policy Committee issues as they relate to the Criminal Justice Program. This position directs the delivery of services of unit staff by supervising, coaching, counseling, training and evaluating program functions and duties carried out by the operations and compliance staff. This position serves as a member of the Department’s management team and carries out assignments and projects which support the Department and Division mission. This position also assists in the development and administration of budgeting for state criminal justice certification programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Five (5) years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR Two (2) years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
