THE WORK
As an SAP BASIS Consultant, you will:
Provide end-to-end SAP BASIS administration .
Independently manage SAP RISE BASIS activities in alignment with SAP-defined RACI matrices and coordinate directly with SAP for BASIS-related operations.
Utilize SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) and transport/change management tools such as ActiveControl, ChaRM, or Rev-Trac.
Perform SAP system validation post-installation by SAP vendors and support environment build, configuration, and integration activities.
Activate SAP Best Practices across Sandbox, Dev, QA, Pre-Prod, and Production systems.
Enable and support SAP Fiori apps, including Fiori activation in S/4HANA using STC01 and SAP SSO configuration for Fiori and SAP GUI.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and manage background job scheduling.
Configure SAP interfaces (RFCs, logical systems, web services, SOA Manager) and set up transport routes for digital core transformation initiatives.
Implement SAP Notes following functional and technical validation and configure SAP standard printer/output management.
Support unit testing activities and initial system setup (load balancing, RFC configuration, batch job groups).
Enable business functions, simple integrations, and SAP BTP integrations based on project requirements.
Configure SAP Web Dispatcher and enable email functionality using SCOT.
Manage system ramp-up and ramp-down activities during maintenance windows.
Set up SAP BTP artifacts, including directories, subaccounts, spaces, destinations, and configure CTMS and Alert Notification services.
Collaborate effectively with customers, functional teams, SAP, and external vendors.
Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
5+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP RISE environments.
Strong knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM, transport/change management tools (ActiveControl, ChaRM, Rev-Trac).
Expertise in SAP Fiori activation, SAP SSO configuration, and SAP interface setup.
Ability to work independently in multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environments.
