About the team

The Sales Compensation Team manages variable compensation and performance reporting for all business divisions across Zillow Group. We provide a strategic partnership with our business partners by developing and processing compensation plans that are motivating and align with company goals in driving growth. We strive for accuracy, timeliness, and reaching several channels to complete all of our sales compensation processes, while also providing informative analysis and data to the various groups we support.

About the role

This role requires a results oriented and organized candidate determined to be a subject matter authority for incentive processes. This person will thrive with change, relish solving new problems, and enjoy working in an innovative, fast-paced environment. 

You Will Get To: 

  • Compiles, calculates and processes incentive payouts. Additionally reviews/analyzes data and summarizes findings. 

  • Works closely with Sales, Sales Operations/Strategy, Finance, and HR/Legal teams to ensure accurate incentive plan administration, compliance, and results. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide strategic recommendations and solutions on improvements in execution and streamlining team responsibilities. 

  • Perform basic research and analysis to identify and resolve incentive discrepancies related to various financial and/or business partner data included for incentives and/or reporting. 

  • Is the subject matter authority on company policies and processes with impacts to incentives. Also fields questions from employees or other teams on incentives or related matters.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $26.90 - $40.35 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field

  • 2-3+ years of work experience as a Compensation/Commissions coordinator, specialist, analyst or similar role at a mid-to-large sized technology or fast-growing company, preferably internet or media industry 

  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills and preferred experience in Salesforce, Zuora, Tableau, SQL, Anaplan, or CompenSafe (or other incentive compensation software) 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, time-management and organizational skills
