Job Description

We are seeking a passionate junior financial analyst to join our team, with a minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience. You will play a pivotal role in supporting a group of ~300 employees within DPR’s Technology & Innovation (T&I) team responsible for leading DPR’s IT, Enterprise & Construction Technology and Data teams. The T&I Finance Team manages the overall budget and forecasts using our financial solutions and are responsible for the IT Burden invoicing, expense reconciliation, invoicing, and other key items.

Key Responsibilities

T&I Finance is responsible for managing a multi-million-dollar budget and producing financial analytics to DPR CFO. This individual will also be responsible for T&I accounting duties such as managing new vendors, invoicing, IT Burden Billing and finance analysis including Financial & Tax Reports, assisting in initiatives where our T&I teams are included and assisting in reporting to T&I and Corporate Leadership teams.

JUNIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST DUTIES

  • Assist Financial Analyst and Controller in any budget or financial analysis that may be needed.

  • Assist the financial analyst with continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new requirements, including supporting T&I and overall DPR Initiatives

  • Creating and producing IT Burden invoices, monthly tax and financial reports.

  • Support monthly forecast meetings

  • Software & Consulting Contract Management

  • Resource Management operations

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES

  • Responsible for ensuring all invoices for T&I are properly allocated including amortization.

  • New vendor management for T&I

  • Liaison for Shared Services (AP/AR & Payroll)

    • Payroll – T&I New Hire onboarding including time cards and labor transfers

    • Shared Services

      • T&I Vendor Invoice management

      • Expense management auditing

      • Liese with IT Field Engineers for internet connections at regional offices & jobsites

Required Qualifications

  • Expert in financial accounting systems (DPR currently uses CMIC)

Anticipated starting pay range:

$65,000.00- $100,000.00
