Are you ready to make a difference? Join the WellStar Enterprise Support Team (WEST) in our Float Pool! This exciting opportunity allows you to work across various facilities based on staffing needs, utilizing your unique skills to provide exceptional patient care wherever you’re needed most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Lead the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized, evidence-based care.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication and seamless patient experiences.

  • Professional Development: Mentor and precept new nurses, and participate in continuing education and performance improvement activities.

  • Evidence-Based Practice: Champion research and performance improvement to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Resource Management: Support optimal resource use, develop clinical protocols, and help reduce readmissions and adverse events.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
  • BSN preferred.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • RN license (GA or multi-state) required.
  • BLS certification from AHA required.
  • ACLS required.
  • Specialty certification preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in your specialty area.
  • Epic and 3M experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
