Overview: 

The Senior Director, Digital Experience & Business Intelligence will lead the digital strategy, customer experience, and business intelligence efforts to drive insights, growth, and innovation for SharkNinja. The Senior Director, Digital Experience & Business Intelligence will be responsible for ensuring SharkNinja’s digital experiences are optimized across all touchpoints while leveraging data and analytics to make informed business decisions. The Senior Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, e-commerce, and technology, to build customer-centric digital experiences and harness business intelligence tools to identify opportunities for growth. 

Reporting to the SVP of Digital Experience, Americas, the Senior Director, Digital Experience & Business Intelligence will play a key leadership role in shaping SharkNinja's digital transformation and using data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement and optimize business performance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Digital Experience Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of SharkNinja’s digital experience strategy across all platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels
  • Ensure the digital experience reflects the brand’s voice and values while optimizing the user journey for efficiency, ease of use, and engagement
  • Drive innovation in digital experiences by identifying new technologies, trends, and consumer behaviors that align with business objectives
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and UX teams to continuously enhance the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from discovery to purchase and beyond

Customer-Centric UX Design

  • Lead the design and implementation of UX/UI initiatives across all digital platforms, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals
  • Utilize user research, customer feedback, and analytics to drive continuous improvements in site design and functionality
  • Develop a cohesive cross-channel strategy to ensure the digital experience is consistent and optimized across all devices and touchpoints (desktop, mobile, tablet, etc.)
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across SharkNinja’s digital properties to improve conversion rates and overall customer satisfaction

Business Intelligence & Data Strategy

  • Oversee the business intelligence function, ensuring data-driven insights guide strategic decisions across the organization
  • Lead the development of a data strategy that integrates insights from various sources, including customer behavior, sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders, helping drive growth and performance improvements
  • Work closely with analytics and IT teams to manage and maintain the company’s data infrastructure, ensuring it supports advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization, helping teams translate data insights into actionable business strategies

Performance Measurement & Analytics

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital experiences and the overall digital business
  • Lead efforts to measure, report, and optimize digital performance metrics, including traffic, engagement, conversion, customer retention, and overall site performance
  • Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to test, iterate, and refine strategies based on data-driven insights and customer feedback
  • Implement A/B testing frameworks to continuously improve customer experience, drive higher engagement, and optimize digital touchpoints

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with product, technology, marketing, e-commerce, and operations teams to ensure digital experience initiatives align with broader business goals and initiatives
  • Serve as a key leader in cross-functional working groups to integrate digital experience insights with business intelligence, ensuring cohesive strategies and optimized execution
  • Work with IT and engineering teams to ensure digital platforms are robust, scalable, and capable of supporting innovative customer experiences and data initiatives

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of digital experience and business intelligence professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making
  • Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and career development opportunities for the team to ensure continuous growth and professional development
  • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies to drive best-in-class solutions and technologies that support SharkNinja’s digital and data initiatives

Qualifications: 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, Data Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in digital experience management, data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success in driving digital transformation initiatives and developing customer-centric digital experiences
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data-driven decision-making processes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration between digital, product, and analytics teams

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles, data analysis, and business intelligence practices
  • Expertise in customer journey mapping, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization
  • Ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving business goals through digital and data initiatives

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Close collaboration with marketing, product, IT, e-commerce, and global digital experience teams
  • Direct management of digital experience and business intelligence teams, with oversight of both strategy and execution
