What You Will Do:

This position requires an experienced Microsoft Office 365 Administrator / SME (SharePoint and Power Platform Developer) to support CISA’s Capacity Building (CB) Knowledge Management (KM) Team. Capable of developing and maintaining MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages) applications and provide SharePoint administrator support to manage SharePoint/Teams sites within Capacity Building’s front office. Must effectively comprehend and communicate complex technical topics or solutions, to lead Capacity Building’s information/knowledge management strategy. Expected to be the lead administrator for KM projects, provide KM support when necessary, and must be capable of broad IT support as well as drafting and communicating information systems guidance, solutions, standard operating procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead CISA Capacity Building (CB) Knowledge Management Team to include Microsoft application systems administration, and SharePoint and MS Power Platform SME
  • Develop MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages) applications and workflows to support CSD, Capacity Building, and Mission Lines/Branch process improvement and business operations.
  • Provide developer SME for MS Power Platform applications, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Network Drives, ServiceNow, HTML, JSON, and other low-code no-code solutions.
  • Effectively comprehend and communicate complex technical topics or solutions, lead and present KM projects, develop complex information systems, solutions, standard operating procedures, and processes.
  • Provide SharePoint administrator/broader Microsoft Office 365 (MSO365) support to manage SharePoint/Teams sites, user access, and permissions, and ensures the security and optimization of KM environments.
  • Lead the SharePoint/MSO365 permission management for Capacity Building resources (CB Hub, SharePoint Sites, PowerApps, Teams Channels, etc.).
  • Provide Microsoft troubleshooting and technical support to Capacity Building users, leading working sessions to resolve Microsoft application IT errors and issues.
  • Monitoring SharePoint Online site performance, analytics, storage, and user engagement to provide targeted UI/UX improvements.
  • Support trainings, live demonstrations, and working sessions on how to use SharePoint and other Microsoft application best practices.
  • Develop and design engaging and user-friendly SharePoint sites, pages, and libraries.
  • Perform data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss or version control issues.
  • Ensure sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  • Act as an information/knowledge management liaison, conducting requirement gathering sessions with CISA/CSD/CB stakeholders for MSO365 technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and systems management related to upcoming CISA migration from DHSHQ tenet environment to dedicated CISA tenet/IT system.
  • Research and implement contemporary MSO365 best practices and technologies, to include new application or functionality launches, or new knowledge management best practices (ex: flat-information architecting)

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • THREE (3) or more years’ of experience related to Knowledge Management Strategy or Project/Program Management or Data Management or System Migration Support or Power Platform and/or SharePoint Administration

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting US government cybersecurity programs.
  • Experience with managing/supporting and/or knowledge of cybersecurity
  • Experience developing and maintaining working relationships while serving Federal clients onsite and remotely.
  • Ability to identify obstacles and opportunities that impact the success of plans or initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership when interacting with clients and fellow team members.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing direct client engagement team to deliver impactful support to Federal clients
